Founder Marieke Polfliet started Kokos & Kaktus in February 2022 by purchasing a sewing machine with the personal mission to create clothing full of color and playfulness. Her creativity began to flow, along with requests to make clothes for others. This led to the next step: setting up her own clothing line.

Marieke puts a lot of love and time into designing the prints, where she is inspired by the colorful island of Curaçao where she lives. Each print tells its own story and emphasizes the beauty of life.

Kokos & Kaktus works together with a small European network of professionals with a passion for sustainable entrepreneurship. The fabrics used for the clothing are sustainably sourced and use environmentally friendly textile dyes.

Her desire is to make women shine and give them that extra spark when wearing Kokos & Kaktus .
